Scanner opt-out

Request scanning opt-out

Site owners may request that Vakteye's compliance scanner skips their domain. Submit your request below; we'll send a verification email to confirm authorization. Once verified, the opt-out is recorded and the scanner-dispatch pipeline skips the domain (and every subdomain of it) at scan time.

If you're a Vakteye customer, you don't need this form — manage your domain settings (and the WAF allowlist that unlocks Phase 2 scanning) at vakteye.com/dashboard.

Enter the root domain (e.g. example.com). Protocol and www prefix are stripped automatically.

A verification email will be sent to this address. Use an address at the domain you're opting out.

Opt-out requests are verified by email. Verified opt-outs are recorded on the exclusion list checked at scan dispatch time and the scanner short-circuits matched domains. For urgent removal, email scanner-abuse@vakteye.com.

Privacy notice

Controller: Vakteye AB (org.nr 559563-9146), Stockholm, Sweden. Contact: scanner-abuse@vakteye.com. No Data Protection Officer is appointed under GDPR Art 37; the controller handles data-protection requests directly via the same address.

Purpose: managing the scanner exclusion list. Your domain, contact email, and optional reason are stored to verify authorization, send the verification email, and exclude the domain from future scans.

Legal basis: Art 6(1)(f) GDPR — legitimate interest in operating an opt-out mechanism for our compliance scanner. Provision is voluntary; without a contact email at the opted-out domain we cannot verify authorization and the request is rejected.

Recipients: Resend Inc. (US-based email-delivery processor) receives the verification email address and the domain string for the sole purpose of sending the one-time verification email. Transfers outside the EU/EEA are protected by EU Standard Contractual Clauses (Commission Decision (EU) 2021/914).

Retention: stored indefinitely while the opt-out remains in effect. Removal on request via scanner-abuse@vakteye.com.
