Scanner disclosure
You saw our scanner. Here's who we are.
Vakteye is a Swedish company that scans websites for privacy and security compliance. If you arrived here, traffic from us hit your site. This page tells you what we did, why it's lawful, and how to make us stop.

All traffic comes from Frankfurt, Germany (eu-central-1 (Frankfurt)).
What we did to your site
We loaded public pages and read what was already there — the same pages anyone visiting your site would see. We did not try to log in. We did not try to break anything. We did not submit forms with real-looking data. We did not test for exploitable weaknesses.
Our scan lasts a few minutes per site and runs on a modest rate budget. If anything we did caused operational impact, we want to know — contact us at the email below.
Why we're allowed to do this
Compliance scanning of public websites is conducted under GDPR Article 6(1)(f) (legitimate interest). We have completed the required three-part assessment (purpose, necessity, balancing) and documented every safeguard in code.
The full Legitimate Interests Assessment, our Article 30 record of processing, our Transfer Impact Assessment, and the list of sub-processors involved in operating Vakteye are all available on request to dpo@vakteye.com.
Stop us scanning your site
Submit the opt-out form. Verify by clicking the link in the email we send. From that point your site is permanently excluded from our scanner.

For anything else
Questions about our methodology, technical infrastructure, the legal documentation, or anything else — please contact dpo@vakteye.com and we will get back to you with what you need.
